Phoebe Greenwood is a writer and journalist living in London. Between 2010 and 2013, she was a Jerusalem-based stringer covering the Middle East for the Guardian, Daily Telegraph and Sunday Times. From 2013, she was a staff editor and correspondent at the Guardian specialising in foreign affairs. When she left the paper in 2021, she was an Assistant Editor. She was also a host on Vice News Tonight HBO. She is currently the Europe Editor at Hyphen. Her debut novel Vulture, a fictionalised account of the 2012 war in Gaza, will be published by Europa Editions in July 2025.
Sarah Burke is a journalist based in Dakar, Senegal. Between 2012 and 2018 she was a broadcast news producer for ABC News, NBC News and Vice Media, with an expertise covering politics and international news in the USA, Europe, the Middle East, and beyond. Since leaving full-time field work, she spent five years at Sky News in London as a producer of long form documentaries and podcasts. She has also worked as a senior breaking news editor at Factal, a real-time news verification start-up. She is currently freelancing from West Africa.
